How to Screenshare from Your Android Device

If you would like to share the screen of your Android device with others, you have the following options of software to use:

1. GoTo Meeting
2. Microsoft Teams
3. WebEx
4. Zoom

GoTo Meeting

To share your device using GoTo Meeting, please follow these steps:

1. Go to the Google Play Store and download/ install the GoTo Meeting app.
2. Join a GoTo Meeting from the Meetings tab in the GoTo app, your email, or a calendar invite.
3. Now you’ve successfully joined the meeting.
   • When you join a meeting, you may be prompted to allow GoToMeeting to record Audio. (Click the Allow button.)
   • You will be prompted to enter your name (and click Save).
4. To share your screen, tap on the (grey) Monitor icon at the lower right, to turn it green.
5. You will be prompted to begin sharing.
6. Tap on the Start now button.
   • You may be prompted to give GoTo Meeting permission to "draw" over other apps. Tap Allow Permission.

The app will now share your screen with the other meeting attendees.

• To turn off the screen share, tap on the (green) Monitor icon, to turn it grey.

Microsoft Teams

To share your device using Teams, please follow these steps:

1. Go to the Google Play Store and download/ install the Microsoft Teams app.
   
   
   
   
2. Join a Teams meeting from the Meetings tab in the Teams app, your email, or a calendar invite.
3. Now you’ve successfully joined the meeting. 
4. Click on the Ellipsis icon at the bottom of your screen.
5. Tap on the “Share” option, then tap on “Share Screen”.

You will see a notice that you are now sharing your screen with Teams.

• Swipe down to get back to the Teams meeting page, or navigate to the content you want to share with the rest of the meeting attendees.
• Any application you open will now be visible to the participants of the meeting.

The top of your screen will have a red bar to indicate that you are sharing your screen. At any time, you can click on the red bar to stop the broadcast of the screen.

WebEx

To share your device using WebEx, please follow these steps:

1. Go to the Google Play Store and download/ install the WebEx app

2. Join a WebEx Meeting from the Meetings tab in the app, your email, or a calendar invite.

3. Set up screen sharing by adding Screen Recording in Settings > Control Center > Customize Controls.

4. Join the Webex on an Android device using the dedicated app. (The app is a requirement.)

5. Open your device's Control Center

6. Force-touch (hard press) the Screen Recording icon

7. Select Webex from the list of apps

8. Tap Start Broadcast

9. Return to the Webex app

10. Tap Start Now on the Share Screen popup

Zoom

To share your device using Zoom, please follow these steps:

1. Go to the Google Play Store and download/ install the Zoom app.
2. In your meeting, click Share Screen.
3. Choose iPhone/iPad via Airplay.
4. (Optional) If you would like to share your phone audio in the meeting, check Share computer sound.
5. Tap Share Screen.
6. If prompted, choose to install the plug-in.
7. Follow the instructions to connect your device
8. On your phone, swipe up to access the Control Center.
9. Tap Screen Mirroring.
10. Choose the Zoom-your computer option.
11. Your phone is now shared in the meeting.
