This article provides detailed instructions about how to access the imSMART Sales Application from a Web browser on your desktop computer or laptop.
Generally speaking, you will follow these basic steps:
- Set Your Password.
- Log in to the Web Application.

1. Set Your Password
To begin using the imSMART application, you will first need to activate your User Account by choosing a password. To do that, follow these steps:
- Open the New User Welcome Email that you received.
- Generally speaking, the email will be titled "Please activate your (Company Name) user account."
- Generally speaking, the email will be titled "Please activate your (Company Name) user account."
- Find the sentence that contains a "Click Here" link (shown below), which enables you to create your password.... then click on the link.
- A new tab will open in your browser to display a password reset form.
- Enter the password that you would like to use, then enter it again.
- Click the Submit button.
Your User Account is now active, and you can log into the Web application.
2. Log into the Web Application
Next, you will need to visit the URL that was created for your organization.

To login, follow these steps:
- Copy/paste the URL into your browser bar. (See the top-left arrow in the image below.)
- Click the grey Sign In button.
- Enter your User Name and Password.
- If your company uses Single Sign On (SSO), you may be required to perform an extra step to satisfy the Two-factor Authentication (TFA) requirements for your company.
- Click the blue Sign In button.
- Click the blue Grant button.
You are now logged in.
You will see the Home screen, which contains the Segments that you are assigned to. (These are the same segments that are visible to you in the Windows app and the Mobile apps for iOS or Android).
