File Size

Max Size: 2048MB

Files that will be loaded into the system should be no larger than 2048MB. If you attempt to upload a large file into the CMS, the file may not properly loaded. This will prevent all remaining assets from loading properly. It's best to reduce the size of your files prior to uploading. This will ensure the best experience for your end users.

Videos

Large videos can be reformatted for the iPad using handbrake (<-- links to download site). Please make sure to select the iPad preset on the right hand side.

File Type

The following are some of the file types that will not work in our system:

• .wmv
• .xlsm
• .xltx
• .xltm
• .xspf

For videos that aren't the correct file type, we recommend converting them to MP4's using handbrake (<-- links to download site). Please make sure to select the iPad preset on the right side.

The following are some, but not all of the file types that will work in our system:

• .xlsx (if you have problems, convert to .pdf)
• .xls (if you have problems, convert to .pdf)
• .pdf
• .pptx (animations or embedded videos will not work, if you have problems, convert to .pdf)
• .ppt (animations embedded videos will not work, if you have problems, convert to .pdf)
• .mp4
• .mp3
• .jpg
• .png
• .tif

Permissions

Make sure links are publicly accessible. You can restrict assess to the iPad only when adding an asset into the CMS.

Please don't change the permissions of an asset to private or internal after uploading the document to the CMS. This will result a server error and cause content syncing issues with the iPad.
